Exactly 3 years later, we're excited to be back in-person.

Do you have questions and concerns about what's happening in the Newton Town Centre? Looking for a chance to connect with other businesses and organization in the town centre? Newton Talks is just the thing for you!

 

We're kicking things off with two speakers and two topics:

Cpl. Bob Keay, Newton District Commander, Surrey RCMP

Discussion on when to call 911, and importance of reporting.

Cpl. Bob Keay was posted from RCMP Depot to Surrey in 2006, and have remained working in Surrey for the past 16.5 years; with the goal being to serve his entire career in the City of Surrey. he has dedicated his time over the past 5 years to Newton, seeking to make positive changes to the community, by forming partnerships with the public and community leaders.

 

Peter Klitz, Team Lead for the Transportation Policy and Planning, City of Surrey

Will present on the Surrey Transportation Plan, long-term plans for rapid transit in Surrey and upcoming capital transportation projects in the Newton area.

He has over 20 years experience planning transit and transportation in the Metro Vancouver region. Peter is a long-time Surrey resident who currently lives in the Fleetwood area.

Newton Talks 

A networking forum for the business community to establish a voice for Newton that improves business opportunities, revitalize the area, and creates a sustainable future for the community. This will be a open forum for you to bring up your questions and/or concerns regarding the Newton Town Centre.
